The upcoming 20th anniversary Symposium on Signal Transduction at the Blood-Brain Barriers will be held in Krakow, Poland, at the International Cultural Centre based in the Ravens House (“pod Kruki”) at 25 Main Market Square (Rynek Główny 25), a witness of all the major events that have taken place right in the centre of Kraków over the ages.

The conference is organized under the Honorary Patronage of Professor Jerzy Duszyński, President of Polish Academy of Sciences. The local organizing committee is chaired by Professor Michał Toborek, international leader of blood brain barrier (BBB) research who seek to bring together basic researchers as well as clinicians from Poland and from around the world who specialize in understanding the role of the BBB in health and disease.
